No One Wins
In an ever-changing world, it is often challenging to communicate the complexity of our emotions. Examining the Roe vs. Wade turnover, this painting depicts a unique stance.
With preserved daisies representing mother and child, you will see the child’s position upside down. This shows not only the overturn, but also the event itself. Both life forces become split from one another and enter into the icy blue cold. Is the child/soul/idea crying, below, or is this just what moving on peacefully looks like?
Overturned or not overturned, this piece represents all sides. This piece is not about pro-choice vs. pro-life. It is about inspiring compassion for the complex emotions during such an event.
